Welcome to my Blog

I am so excited to have a site where I can organize my dolls and share them.  When I get around to setting up some video, I will try to provide photos and short snippets of how I make my wool sculptures.  I am self taught, and so my techniques work for me but are not the only way to make felted creations.  Right now I am working mostly with animals.  Pets, wildlife and fictional animals such as Teddy bears are the most popular.  The Teddies are probably my favorite to make as they are large ( about 17" tall) and soft. They add charm to a room and I was so excited to see the reaction from my two girls when they first saw them. They loved the bears and of course, I will have to make a Teddy for each of them.  My work is mostly for decor or displays, although I can make any of them without any hard or detachable parts for children.  I think they would look great in a nursery. I am going to work on some wool mobiles of flying dogs of different breeds.
